Embracing Opportunities for a New Way

Happy smiling woman with curly hair lounging on couch.

Things have begun to fall away.

What we’ve clung to–our routines, our jobs, our relationships, our sense of Self–is being set aflame and burned to the ground. We are scared because we are losing control.Ahem–we’re losing the IDEA of control:

We never had control over to begin with.

This is the reckless, joyful play of Existence; Things change instantaneously and the only thing we can rely on is our flawless & infallible ability to evolve, innovate & thrive.

What a chance to engage in the audacious revelry of Life!

Transitioning from a place of worry & fear, to one of curiosity & play is tough. We’re not used to being curious or playful in general, let alone when we feel that our livelihoods are being threatened, the structures we think we depend on are crumbling, when the news is spewing speculations, and when we begin to embody the panic of the Collective. But if we can put this down, focus on what is in front of us, and realize what freedom this has granted us, we can create something BETTER in its place.

I can’t tell you how many people in my world who are worried about their jobs, when 2 weeks ago, THEY WANTED TO QUIT ANYWAY.

This is a time to light the fire under your ass: You are being called to Craft Your Life in a way that Serves you like it never has before.

Sometimes this looks like STARTING something you never had time for.Sometimes this looks like RESTING to integrate and receive, in your gut and heart of hearts, what the next step is.

Whatever it looks like, it is kind. It is patient. It is sweet and alive.During meditation, the vision of a tiny baby bird  came through. I’m suddenly caring for this tiny living thing, new & precious. I’m not worrying about what kind of bird this will be, or where it will go, or how it will help me, or why this bird is coming now and not before and what about the other things I have to do besides take care of this tiny baby bird.

I’m just giving this sweet, growing thing as much love as I can, moment by moment, listening to what she needs and when she needs it.

Treat yourself and your innocent Creation with tenderness & joy–what is coming is spectacular. The Illusion of Control is a chain around our brazen & daring hearts; What are you doing to allow the restraints to be shaken off for good?
